Hurricane Poster Project :: That's the Story of the Hurricane
design, letterpress print

[created in association with Jennifer Rose]
- - - - - - - - -
Layers of transparent ink and numerous runs through a Vandercook SP15 press create this multilayered poster as a way to speak to the chaos and displacement following the hurricane. Vibrant colors and a variety of images in the poster speak to the culture and history of the city of New Orleans–creating a kind of visual gumbo to tell the story of this hurricane and the aftermath left in its wake.
