A rebrand of the renovated Kimpton Hotel property, Amara Resort & Spa, located in Sedona, Arizona. For this project, I worked as the lead designer on the team to refresh the properties logo, visual identity standards, print collateral, in-room materials, as well as the digital environment.
This project was completed while working with FINE.
AIGA Portfolio Day Poster
Letterpress poster I designed and printed to promote the AIGA Portfolio Day. For this poster, I used an image of how to assemble an engine to create a metaphor to the portfolio of the creative and how many elements and parts are assembled together to create the portfolio and power the career of the creative individual.
Printed on a Vandercook SP15 Press.
A poster series that celebrates the art and ingredients of classic cocktails.
A collection of logos, logotypes, and Identities I’ve designed that distill the story and character of a brand into a tidy gesture.
Brand new set of business cards straight out of the print-shop. With this card, I wanted to update the look and feel of my personal brand and create a physical business card that would make an impression and be memorable in this digital age. I chose letterpress to connect with the legacy of designs past and to showcase the approach of craftsmanship I bring toeach and every project regardless of the medium.
Printed on Cranes Lettra Pearl White 220lb Pantone 109 and Warm Grey 11
The Portland Timbers Football Club partnered with global, non-profit Mercy Corps to commemorate the International Day of Peace. I was chosen to design the commemorative patch that would be worn on the game jersey. In creating this crest, I researched numerous crests from football clubs around the globe. I took that inspiration to create a unique crest that would graphically represent the partnership of these two organizations as well as serve as a celebration of this event.
Mercy Corps Brochure
Art Direction / Design
A capabilities and general overview piece that serves to highlight and share the story of global non-profit agency, Mercy Corps, and the work they are doing worldwide. The piece is printed on newsprint and uses a striking composition featuring black and white photography, the primary brand color, and strong typography to connect and engage with the audience. I worked to create a piece that would stand out dynamically in a field crowded with full-color brochures, one that would feel timely, relevant, and newsworthy. Printing on newsprint and with limited inks allowed for a larger print run and greater distribution of the piece.
Mercy Corps Notebooks
Art Direction / Design / Illustration
A promotional piece that highlights Mercy Corps ethos of bold ideas solving the worlds toughest problems. To champion that message, we created this durable, pocket-size notebook to be given to staff, donors, and others as a place to house and celebrate those ideas

During my time at Nike, I worked in tandem with members of the design and product teams to create, develop, and maintain the various seasonal styles for core products, ranging from apparel to golf clubs to golf balls. This particular work focuses on the seasonal graphics created for the club category and features large scale graphics for event and in-store as well as digital environments.
Nike Golf: Apparel and Footwear
Concept / Design / Production
Nike Golf creates elite and innovative golf clubs, golf balls, and apparel for everyone from the top PGA players to the casual weekend golfer. Working closely with members of the brand and product teams I helped develop the visual direction and language for the apparel and footwear product lines with a variety of branded, seasonal projects for in-store retail applications, launch events, and packaging. This collection represents a small sample of projects produced within the apparel category of Nike Golf.
Best Light Creative
Along with a small team, I worked to rebrand and develop this site for a photography and video studio based in Seattle. Working closely with the developers, we came up with the solution of a responsive site and custom CMS to allow the client to create a dynamic, ever changing site that is based on the square shape of the pixel. Using that pixel in various sizes and configurations allowed us to create a site with a flexible grid of content while maintaining a strong hierarchy of information.
